The Fox and the Wheat

Since the wheat would take a little over 1 hour for my three wheat crops to ripen, I knew that I would get at least 12 energy points by the time they were ripe. So I waited and waited. And then I waited some more. Finally, it was time for the wheat to ripen and it did.

The only problem was the fact that the fox was right in front of my wheat patches. So I had to either move the fox or move my wheat patches, if such a thing was possible. First, I decided to clobber a fox and check if it went away and took the red hue off my freshly ripe crop. But when I did that I realized that the fox hadn’t gone far enough for the red hue to disappear from my wheat patches.

So, I thought of doing the only thing that came to mind. I decided to try and move the wheat patches away where they would not be affected by the red hue. And it worked! It worked, it worked. I’m so pleased. Next time, I would try the trick with my farm animals too and check how things go. A really useful way to avoid clobbering unwanted animals when short of energy points.
With the wheat ripe and away from the red hue, it was ready to be harvested. I harvested the three wheat patches and was surprised to find that I received a lot of coins and XPs. I even received a collection item.
